Diane Dorrans Saeks is a best-selling California-based author, editor, design lecturer, and feature writer who focuses on interior design, architecture, style, gardens, travel and fashion.
She is the author of twenty books on interior design, architecture, travel, and style, including "San Francisco A Certain Style" (Chronicle Books 1989, new edition 1999), "California Country" (Chronicle Books 1992, new edition 1999), "San Francisco Interiors" (Chronicle Books 1995), and "California Cottages" (Chronicle Books 1996).
"Kitchens," and "Living Rooms", and "Bedrooms," and "Bathrooms" in her California Design Library, were published by Chronicle Books and translated into Japanese. This series quickly reached best-selling status. All of her books are in print.
